October 2019- Conscious Dying Institute Workshop Restorative Facilitator/ Musician:

Laurie offers a 3 hour musical sound bathing experience within a grief ceremony for death doulas in the Sacred Passage Doula Certificate program Conscious Dying Institute/Ottawa. 

Why We Do This Work: To Restore Death To Its Sacred Place in the Beauty, Mystery, And Celebration Life; Creating A Caring Healing Culture of End of Life Doulas Who  Contribute To The Evolution Of Human Consciousness.

Hospice Bereavement Circle Facilitation

7 week Bereavement Program

Laurie facilitates monthly circles with empathy and report in adult peer

Bereavement Support groups.

Drummond Central Elementary School: Parent and Child Nature Connection Workshop. Naturalizing the Outdoor Classroom on the School Playground

Upper Canada District School Board and Algonquin College's ECE Program (Perth Campus/ Coordinator- Jancess Pinnock) are in partnership to naturalize the elementary school playground at Drummond Central Elementary. Laurie Lynn visited the school monthly to assist teachers in taking the students outdoors to learn on the playground. A PRO-Grant (Parents Reaching Out) application with the parent council will  introduce restorative communication practices in the outdoor classroom in a Parent and Children Nature Connection Workshop.

 

May 2019, Maple Grove Elementary School:

Laurie  introduces nature immersion outdoor learning activities for grades 1-6 in the Restorative Communication Outdoor Classroom project at Maple Grove Elementary in Lanark.

May, 2019:

Hospice: Laurie facilitates restorative practices for Hospice Activity Day. 

July 2019- Blue Skies Music Festival
